The wooden finish on these instruments feels really sturdy, not like the flimsy plastic sets we’ve had before. My kid grabbed the little shaker and the xylophone mallet immediately, and the mix of sounds kept her busy for a solid half hour.

My toddler loves the colorful xylophone the most—the bars make such a clear, pleasant ring when she taps them. She's been carrying the little wooden egg shakers around the house all week too. Perfect for tiny hands to explore different sounds.

The wooden instruments look lovely, but the chime bars don't stay in tune after a few play sessions. It's a decent starter set for the price, though my toddler enjoys banging on the drum.
